Pioneer and leader in this field, DBS Group offers a service dedicated to sustainable development based in Geneva. Our Sustainable Development Service serves both the Group and its brands and our clients. Our mission is to ensure that the three pillars of sustainable development : social solidarity, environmental responsibility and economic efficiency, are respected and correctly applied throughout the assignment to manage your property.
This sustainable management of our housing stock is characterised by:
- Management of the Company’s energy consumption and the buildings that it manages
- Valuation of the stock under management by analysing the potential for energy-saving improvements
- Support for tenants aimed at reduing their ecological footprint
- Support for caretakers in their daily routine and their social role
The management company has received USPI Green Label Certification every year since its foundation.
Brolliet has opted to use electricity produced by Swiss hydroelectric power. In this way, it contributes to the development of renewable energy on a national level. It is also part of the SIG Eco21 programme [Geographic Information Systems], aimed at promoting energy recovery works.
In house, Broillet conducts its business in compliance with the requirements connected with sustainable development and, in particular, adopts an environmentally-friendly energy policy. Furthermore, these principles of sustainable development are implemented within the management framework of the Company and its premises. Brolliet is the first company to achieve the “ISO 26000” confirmed ‘maturity model’.
Thanks to the digitization of DBS Group’s practices, Brolliet has consolidated its position as an eco-responsable agency while maintaining a high level of quality in performing its tasks.
Based on the SIG Eco21 Reports compiled by electricians, the results are analysed and amended in order to obtain the best possible financial return.
For refurbishment projects, financial plans are devised that meet the legal requirements in order to achieve the best possible return. The analysis also relates to the opportunity linked to grants and taxation.
As a back-up to a tool like Immolabel, we will conduct a bespoke analysis and prepare a report in order to discover the potential savings to be made and also so as to meet the constraints associated with the Energy Law.
A seminar is held each year with the caretakers of the buildings under management in order to train them and thus improve their daily routine. The topic of the last seminar was managing and reducing waste.
